Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old healing technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Acupuncture is now covered by many health insurance policies and is used most broadly to relieve pain. Having spent 4 years studying acupuncture and specialised treatment modules I can provide individual or combined treatments if required.

I work to help restore full normal movement and to reduce or eliminate pain resulting from injury, infirmity and from medical conditions. I hold CIBTAC and ITEC diplomas for physical therapies.

I am a certified advanced practitioner in Oncology massage which is the modification of existing massage therapy techniques in order to safely work with complications of cancer and cancer treatment.

Neuropathy Treatment

Many years of experience with cancer patients and my knowledge of various treatments has allowed me to develop a specific combined massage reflexology and acupressure treatment approach. Based on feedback this is proving successful at restoring sensation to the feet of those who have undergone cancer treatments.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that can be used to support you on your Cancer Journey. I am a certified advanced practitioner with extensive experience in this area. 

Palliative Massage & Reflexology

Massage therapy for palliative care patients has been shown to decrease pain, reduce anxiety and relieve fatigue. Patricia has received certifications in both of these areas.

Neck and Shoulder Massage

Relieves Tension from Upper Back. Repetitive motion or immobility may cause neck and shoulderpain. An upper back massage may help relieve the tension in that area and reduce the pain from migraines or stress.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes to help you relax. The massage therapist will move at a slower pace and use lighter pressure. In a relaxation massage, there is less emphasis on working out chronic underlying muscle tension.

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. A sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.  ITEC diploma.

Tui Na Massage

I have a diploma in Tui Na Massage following a years study of this physical  treatment with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland, Nanjing University Associate. The term Tui Na (pronounced "twee naw"), which literally means "pinch and pull," refers to a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic massage and body work.
Tui Na aims to realign soft tissue and bone, energising the body and treating internal disease. Tui Na sessions are around 30-40 minutes.

This popular treatment choice is about working with clients to find the correct application treatments which will remove the heaviness being experienced. Working in a calming environment I aim to help improve the physical and mental wellbeing of my clients.

I am a qualified Yoga Teacher and occasionally hold gentle classes for private groups by request. There are however regular Yoga classes conveniently provided elsewhere in our building.
